So, here’s a quick reminder about “Her Lion’s Jump” screenings this week. First one is tomorrow, Tues, Feb. 24th in Vancouver at the Reel2Real Film Festival for Youth. I thank them dearly for using an image from my film (see here: https://www.ticketturtle.com/index.php?theatre=r2r) to describe one of their programs, so thank you very much Reel2Real.
And the second screening is this Saturday, Feb 28th, at Wondercon! Here’s the website for some more information http://www.sfchildrensfilm.org/events.php and here’s the flyer for the film that will be available at the SFBAICFF booth and also directly from me since I WILL be attending the convention and the screening:
See you there!

BONUS NOTE: I’m very happy that Reel2Real is also screening “Les Trois Brigand,” and I really regret not being able to be there to see it. The reason is that “Les Trois Brigand” by Tomi Ungerer is probably the first children’s book I remember being read to as a very young child, and it really scared me! The art is so dark and stark, and the story is quite harsh for very little kids. I have not seen this animated adaptation, but it’s just an interesting coincidence and an honor really. Who da thunk?

Hey Regis. I met you at Wondercon and we spoke at some length about the music for your film. Thanks for talking to me and I hope all is well!
